Feed My Starving Children
Last night we volunteered our time at Feed My Starving Children in Eagan. We were there with many other volunteers and packed enough food in 45 mins to feed 40 children for an ENTIRE year!! We can’t wait to go again. Here are some pictures from the event.
Mission of Mercy
The Minnesota Dental Association and the Minnesota Dental Foundation hosted its Minnesota Mission of Mercy on July 25th and 26th, providing free dental care to children and adults who face barriers to accessing dental care.
With over 1,000 volunteers, Dr. Woell and his daughter, Elizabeth, were among the volunteers at this event. They are so proud to be a part of such a well-organized wonderful event to help so many people.
Mission of Mercy
Dr. Cashin had the chance to volunteer with Mission of Mercy in Duluth on July 17th and 18th. Since 1994, Mission of Mercy has been providing free healthcare, free dental care and free prescription medications to the uninsured, underinsured and those who “fall through the cracks” of our healthcare system.
The Minnesota Dental Association has also made a video about the event:
Mission of Mercy
Dr. Lisa Cashin from Dental Health Care Center volunteered her services to help provide $1 million for this year’s Mission of Mercy (MOM) in Bemidji, MN on June 14th and 15th. The annual event serves rural communities throughout the state. Dental professionals from all over Minnesota volunteer to provide treatments for people in need. “The program continues to be a great success. Our goal of $1 million in services is a major milestone for MOM. We are proud to be able to contribute to this worthy cause,” says Dr. Cashin. “I had the opportunity to work along-side some great volunteers for a great cause.”
